In the Q4 of a year ago, telecom operator Airtel announced two new tariff plans priced at ₹448 and ₹509 respectively for its prepaid customers which offered benefits like free voice calls and 1 GB data per day.
Jio has also reduced the 1 GB data rate to Rs. 4 for a 1-day validity plan.
The Rs 399 plan will get a boost in validity, the plan that used to offer 1GB data for 70 days will now provide 84GB data for 84 days.
The Rs 509 plan, on the other hand, offers validity of 91 days and at the same price as a similar plan from Reliance Jio but with more validity. Reliance Jio offers unlimited voice calls, roaming and STD, access to MyJio apps and unlimited SMS for the duration of any plan.
The Rs 448 plan will now provide 126GB of data for a period of 84 days and the Rs 498 plan will give a total of 136GB data over a period of 91 days. India' second largest telecom operator has now increased the validity of its two long-validity plans- Rs 458 and Rs 509.

Jio's Rs. 199 prepaid plan will be available at Rs. 149 after getting a price cut of Rs. 50. Airtel offers unlimited voice calls and 1GB daily data. More data-intensive users can cast their eyes to the new Rs 349 pack which offers 70GB of data over the course of 70 days. The company has introduced special 1.5GB per day data plans.
The free-calling benefit is unchanged on this plan, but users must note that if the limit is exhausted, calls will be charged at 30 paise per minute.
Also, Vodafone is limiting the unlimited voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
In what is the lowest-ever industry tariff, its 1GB monthly pack is priced at Rs 149. The company offers 28GB data for 28 days. The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls with unlimited SMS.
The company has revised the plan by providing more data to its customers.
