This isn't the only surprise, though.
This year, General Mobile has launched two phones at Mobile World Congress - the successor to the GM6, the GM8 (we assume there was a GM7 somewhere in between too), and they're also bringing a more cut-down version in the GM8 Go running Google's low-end optimised Android Go. With this launch, Lava has become the first smartphone company to officially launch Android Oreo Go smartphone. We now don't know which countries the 1X will be available in, but we'll update this article when we know more.
The phone also comes with either a single SIM or dual SIM variant, and weirdly enough, you can opt for a model with a fingerprint sensor, or without. The device is priced at $85 and will be available from April.
Well, as far as looks are concerned, it is an wonderful phone with a fantastic feel. By streamlining the operating system and core apps, Android Oreo (Go Edition) provides more storage to the end user, even on a device with only 8GB of storage. The trio has the same chipset and supports facial recognition.

West Ham started brightly and hit the bar through Marko Arnautovic in the early stages but were ultimately well beaten.
This is the cheapest Alcatel smartphone of 2018, coming with a 5.3-inch display and 16GB of storage. It measures just 2mm thin at the edge and it combines a curved edge-to-edge pOLED 2K 5.5-inch display with smaller bezels and moulded body curves to create an ultra-compact profile. The 3X has a 13MP primary camera and 5MP 120-degree wide-angle lens with dual-tone flash.
Next in line is the Alcatel 3 series, which can be broken down into three phones; the Alcatel 3, 3X, and 3V. The Alcatel 3 will be available in select markets next month in spectrum black, blue or gold for Euro 150. With Social Square, users can review recently captured photos in one half of the screen, while the camera viewfinder remains active in the other half, while Instant Collage fills in a pre-set arrangement one by one with camera shots, and Photo Booth offers a strip of four shots in a row. It's the costliest, but this doesn't mean it has premium specs. Certainly don't rely on the 2Mp front camera for selfies you'll want to share with the world.
The Alcatel 5 has a price tag of €229.99. Since the phone will be made available in collaboration with Airtel, it will come with preloaded apps such as the MyAirtel App, Airtel TV and Wynk Music. The Lava Z50 is powered by the entry-level MediaTek MT6737m processor. The main difference between the two slates is their display screens, where the 1T 7 has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 panel while the 1T 10 has a 10-inch 1280 x 800 panel. Both tablets are expected to launch during the second half of this year, and will cost 70 Euros (~RM337) and 100 Euros (~RM481) respectively.
