Singer Elton John explained to fans Saturday what prompted to walk off stage during his Las Vegas show earlier this week. "They have always been very courteous to the fact we are in the middle of playing a song live", he said.
However, one excitable fan couldn't resist trying to touch the star, and despite Elton telling him to stop, he continued.
"He left, and they cut the song short and ushered everyone off stage and escorted the guy out of the building".
In a tweet to his fans, the singer explained that one of the people invited onstage during his performance of "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" was behaving in a way that was "completely disrupting".
It looks like Blizzard is teasing Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch
A week later, Blizzard's official Twitter released a short video that might give us a bit more evidence to this rumor being true. You may not think anything of it at first, but Blizzard does make it a point to switch it on and off a couple of times.
The incident was caught on camera and Elton could be seen stopping the performance and walking off stage.
Judging by the following video footage obtained by TMZ, it appears that a fan was attempting to high-five John while he was performing. He blurted out, "You f**ked it up!". and then played "Circle of Life".
According to The Blast, Elton made the confession during his show in Las Vegas on Friday night, where he proceeded to dedicate his hit track Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me to the late cocker spaniel.
The artist is now in the middle of a long Las Vegas residency, with John playing regular gigs at The Colosseum at the famous Caesar's Palace. The three-year long "Yellow Brick Road" tour ends in 2021 with 300 dates.
