Anushka Sharma-starrer horror flick Pari won't release in Pakistan with the country's censor board banning it over "wrong portrayal of Islamic values".
Arora, who has produced the movie with the film's lead actress Anushka Sharma's banner Clean Slate Films, said: "They (the Pakistan censor board) seem to be taking random decisions". The total box office collection of the opening weekend now stands at Rs 15.34 crore. However, even after Holi celebrations, not many checked into theatres to watch Pari.
Besides Anushka, Pari stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor, Ritabhari Chakraborty and Mansi Multani. "Pari" had collected around Rs 4.75 crore and Rs 4.50 crore on its first Saturday and first Sunday respectively. "I have no doubt Pakistan will find my next release Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran also anti-Islamic". It won't be a surprise if the film pockets Rs 10 crore on Sunday.
