The biggest reveal however (the only real reveal) is that of a smaller, 4x4km island map created to offer players a quicker battle royale experience.
Apart from that, the developer is planning on adding new Game Modes, new vehicles, and new weapons to bring some added variety. There is also yet another new map coming to the game that sounds like it's going to hit the experimental test server first.
A new eight-kilometer by eight-kilometer map has also been confirmed, though further details weren't provided. Even its recent launch out of early access and going free-to-play today can not save H1Z1 so in response to all of this, Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene finally took to community to lay out plans for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in 2018 and it's about damn time.
According to the developer, this new map will come with "faster, more intense matches with higher player density". PUBG Corp. also wants to test limb and vehicle bullet penetration, as well as overhauling the entire animation system for both third-and first-person.
A Nun Suing Katy Perry Died in Court
Perry reportedly visited the nuns to win them over, and is said to have shown them her tattoo of Jesus and sung a hymn for them. However, in a odd twist of events Hollister was found guilty of fraud because she allegedly interfered with the sale process.
"We have not forgotten about our core responsibility to our players-to provide a stable, smooth and secure environment for enjoying a great Battle Royale experience", said Greene. Some of the 2018 features planned for PC will also be making the jump, with emotes and more player customisation options on the way.
A longer 2-3 week cycle between patches is being touted, ensuring that PUBG Corp can consistently release "well tested improvements", optimisations, new content additions and more. Marked in the top left as a 4x4km concept, it is half the size of the previous two maps, seemingly without sacrificing the 100 player count, from what Greene says. "I can't play anymore [because] the FPS issue is too much", reads one negative response. "We truly want to build a great foundation for Battle Royale esports, and while we have seen some great events already using our game, we have much work to do, especially with the observing side of things". Activated through a radial menu, actions can be performed during matches to communicate with other players.
Not content with selling more than 30 million copies on PC alone, PUBG creator Brendan Greene (aka PlayerUnknown) has taken the wraps off the game's 2018 roadmap and detailed plans for expanding and improving the experience.
Nevertheless, PUBG players now have a document with which to hold PUBG Corp. accountable and PUBG Corp. has made public their plans to keep fans happy.
