The death has been announced of Chicago Fire star DuShon Monique Brown, who passed away on Friday in a USA hospital at the age of 49.
Her cause of death has not yet been released. "Our thoughts and prayers are with DuShon's family, and we will all miss her".
Robert Schroeder, DuShon's manager, also shared his sentiments regarding the fallen star. The actress was just 49 years old, and had sought out medical help recently for chest pains, according to TMZ.
Brown told the website Hidden Remote previous year that when the actress was first played the role of Connie on the NBC series, "my character didn't even have a name". Dropbox shares surge after March 2018 IPO
The S&P 500 slid 1.8 percent while Nasdaq dropped 2.4 percent, adding to losses of more than 2 percent each on Thursday. Dropbox is the biggest so-called unicorn since Snap to test the public market's appetite for tech startups.
Dushon played her more recent role in "Chiacgo Fire" as Connie, Chief Boden's assistant. Brown, who'd boasted a Master's degree in counseling, also had a career in social work and had once worked at a high school as a counselor.
She said: "She was a brilliant actor, but she was also so goofy".
On the NBC series, Brown's character was a stern-faced delight and a steadying influence on a group of co-workers prone to getting into one mess or another. "I know, for me, I'm not on set every day, but people are always asking me about my kid and how my day is going and they are all so very sweet and kind", she said. Brown then went on to play Katie Welsh in a reoccurring role in Fox's hit show, Prison Break, which became a well-known role for the actress.
Her death is not only a tragic loss for her fellow cast-mates, but also for the family that she leaves behind, including her daughter Zoe.
