On Tuesday, yet another rumor on Melania Trump's supposed disappearance had popped up, as an unnamed senior White House official told Politico that the president's people "are hiding something" regarding the first lady's whereabouts.
Melania Trump blasted media outlets Wednesday for drumming up conspiracy theories behind her almost three weeks out of the public eye.
Trump, 48, has not been seen in public since May 10, four days before she underwent the procedure at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 14.
The first lady tweeted Wednesday that she's "working hard" and "feeling great".
Other participants at the White House event included "The Incredible Hulk" actor Lou Ferrigno, who befriended Trump while appearing on "Celebrity Apprentice"; former New York Yankees baseball player Johnny Damon; and professional golfer Natalie Gulbis.
Melania's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, said they deal with conspiracy theories all the time.
Twitter users were quick to note that the tone of the statement, as well as the punctuation, sounded nothing like the first lady's typical tweeting style.
Rumor: Next Assassin's Creed titled Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Insiders claim that the new game will be out in less than a year and will have new gameplay elements. Ubisoft has confirmed that it is working on Assassin's Creed Odyssey .
He tweeted, "Not that this will deter the conspiracy theorists, but I saw the First Lady walking with her aides in the West Wing yesterday afternoon".
Naturally enough people are jumping to all sorts of conclusions online as to what she's doing in her private time.
I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing.
She earlier this month launched Be Best, an initiative to teach kindness to children.
"I wouldn't characterize this as a long absence". "She seems to be recovering well", he said, though he offered no further details.
Plus, Trump herself has been active on Twitter - praising the hospital, thanking a Navy SEAL who received the Medal of Honor at the White House, acknowledging the victims of the deadly Santa Fe school shooting, and noting Memorial Day. Dr. Ronny Jackson, who has since left that post, told reporters that he'd arrange for a dietitian to consult with the White House chef to cut calories and recommend a low-impact, aerobic exercise program for Trump with the aim of shedding 10 to 15 pounds this year. The phrase "working overtime", which has been featured in several of President Trump's tweets, had some outlets wondering whether 45 penned the message. "Right there", Trump said.
