The new game in the Halo series was revealed with a trailer, although sadly no gameplay footage was shown. It will be a game that will have 2.5D graphics and 4K resolution on the Xbox One X. It will support three player local cooperative multiplayer.
This included a brand-new studio, The Initiative, and the acquisition of some truly fantastic studios already doing great work.
The full trailer shows a glimpse of the Master Chief himself, and there is some impressive landscape shots, hinting at an expansive environment. You might have noticed that Master Chief's helmet looks a bit different, too, and this is meant to display the game's new art style. With the majority having low expectations for Microsoft's E3 showing, some were quietly predicting that it could surprise everyone and steal the show.
Phil Spencer took to the stage today to confirm that Xbox have opened a brand new studio dedicated to creating new IP and new worlds. This is the first new Battletoads since Battletoads Arcade came out in 1994. It will also, naturally, be an Xbox exclusive, but we're not sure if that exclusivity applies to a possible PC release.
Summit With North Korea "One-Time Chance" For Peace, Says Donald Trump
While 2018 started off positively the summit was placed in doubt following fiery exchanges between Mr Trump and North Korea. Trump further noted that his upcoming meeting with Kim Jong-un in Singapore as a "mission of peace".
Infinite should be the next mainline Halo game so it's fair to say it should be a shooter.but at this point we never really know what 343i will do next.
But this wasn't Microsoft's only big news. Since that reveal, the studio head of 343 Industries' FPS projects, Chris Lee, confirmed that Halo Infinite will be a Master Chief story. The EA Play event, which runs through Monday in Los Angeles, is offering live demos of its cloud-based game streaming service.
