Thursday's trip to Cheshire proved to be a success for the Queen and Meghan, and royal watchers were delighted to see just how close the pair seemed.
The Queen has often made overnight journeys on the Royal Train but Meghan has never been invited on one.
However, editor-in-chief at Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward said that once formalities are out of the way Meghan can refer to the Queen as something else.
He added about Markle, "She was really calm considering it was her first official engagement with the boss".
As for how Meghan fared with the queen, the royal duo looked positively chummy throughout the day's events.
"I'd award Meghan an A thus far for all of her efforts transitioning into becoming the new Duchess of Sussex", Meier told HuffPost. "They traveled on a regular train, albeit in first class, when the queen took Kate on her first away day, and Kate had to wait nine months before the queen invited her away".
'It is definitely too early to confirm if Meghan will continue to turn to Ms. Keller and Givenchy for her future stylings, but today was definitely a good steer in that direction, with Meghan pairing a Givenchy belt and bag with her bespoke dress'.

Should such shade be thrown, Hankuk University's Edge says it's unlikely Kim's interpreters would translate it literally. But US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the two-hour meeting on Monday morning was "substantive and detailed".
The Duchess of Sussex turned to Givenchy to create the outfit for her all-important first joint engagement with the Queen. They'll also get to see a performance from local schoolchildren, visit a new venue called The Storyhouse in Chester, and meet local residents as they make their way to a lunch at Chester Town Hall.
Meghan kept fiddling with her hair, which is a pure sign of nerves.
The close bond between the Queen and Meghan became apparent when the pair sat down at a ceremony to open the new Mersey Gateway Bridge.
While in Chester, the duo attended the grand opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge, where they met with architects and community representatives.
Both experts however, agree on one thing: The Queen is obviously very fond of Meghan Markle. "She's clearly adjusting to the British royal family, learning the culture, politics, verbiage, dress, etiquette and even the protocol".
A palace source says Meghan's balcony position "would have come from her".
