Lewis Hamilton had a collision with Sebastian Vettel in the very first lap which has split opinion whether to who is to blame, and the Brit conceded that it was definitely the turning point of the race.
Hamilton had started third, behind Raikkonen and Vettel after the Ferraris started on the front row, booking the top two places at Monza for the first time since 2000. Vettel claimed Hamilton hadn't left him room, but the stewards chose to take no further action, and the championship leader downplayed the contact after taking his third win in four races.

Quizzed about Raikkonen's slipstream, the German replied: "We have an order which changes every weekend, and this weekend it was Kimi's turn to go second (and get the tow)".
Now, Vettel has fallen 30 points behind Hamilton in the championship fight. But then he didn't leave me any space and I had no other chance than run into him and make contact. I think we all still wake up tomorrow morning.
Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas was third, ahead of Vettel and Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who received a five-second penalty.

Vettel's failure to take pole leaves him without a buffer to Hamilton on the charge to the opening bend here on Sunday.
"It was unfortunate for us to get spun around and have a lot of damage but it could have been him spun around and us carrying on".
"I'm not too anxious", he told reporters after finishing fourth in an Italian Grand Prix won by his Mercedes rival. "They gave us a lot of support and we didn't delver for whatever reason".
